Dr. Herbert Ludwig Saint Jean graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2006. Prior to this, he earned a dental degree with honors from the State University of Haiti. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency and fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center, where he also received a Master’s degree in Public Health in 2003.
Dr. Saint Jean is a Board-Certified General Dentist who emphasizes preventive dentistry and education. He is experienced in family, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, including bonding, crowns and bridges, veneers, and dental implants. He is licensed to provide care under conscious sedation and has been a certified Invisalign provider since 2009.
Dr. Saint Jean’s expertise in emergency dentistry and elective procedures for diverse patients enables him to effectively address his patients' needs. He prioritizes patient health and collaborates with other specialists to help patients achieve their dental goals.
Dedicated to continuing education, Dr. Saint Jean completes approximately 70 hours of training annually. He received the prestigious Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in June 2015, recognizing his commitment to exceptional patient care. He is currently pursuing an Associate Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Dr. Saint Jean is dedicated to community service both locally and internationally. Between 2010 and 2017, he volunteered with Bethesda Medical Mission in Haiti for a week, providing free dental care. He also volunteers with Mission of Mercy, a North Carolina organization offering free medical and dental care to the uninsured.
